Tell The Next Generation

A sermon from Ps William as we begin our next chapter as PCBC English: "Tell from generation to generation the LORD’s praiseworthy deeds and faithful love despite His people’s forgetful and rebellious hearts."

Psalm 78 invites us to:

1. Retell His marvellous acts from generation to generation (v1–4)
2. Recall His people’s failures from generation to generation (v8–11, 17–37, 40–51, 56–58)
3. Rehearse His steadfast mercies from generation to generation (v12–16, 38–39, 52–55, 59–72)

"PCBC English – we are the new generation. Humbled by our past failures. Grateful for His steadfast mercy. Yet by God’s grace, we exist to tell from generation to generation everything that the LORD has done. So let us make disciples of all nations. Let us 'in Christ, be building vibrant multilingual congregations to bless our communities and beyond.' We will not succeed on our own strength. But thankfully, we have a wonderful God. Who, as Paul prays in Eph 3:20-21: 'Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly… to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever.'"
